News for The Realm of Fantasy

Guess what? I've been home all day with little to keep me from working on TRoF and Corus, so here I am to say, there are updates.

• A link to Corus has been added to the left side-pannel.


• I have adjusted the font problem under the "Books" section


• I have changed the layout (again), but I really like the new one, so expect for it to stay that way for a while.


• I have added a page of images, so if you want to see what some of the books look like, come take a peek here

I've added and updated a bit. I've added a poll, added to Daine's part of the character's page, and updated the layout. I hope everyone likes the new layout. Oh, and I also deleted some of those pesky spams that are filling up the guestbook. Please do not add spam to the guestbook. It is there for feedback on the site. If is is abused, I will have to take it away. I believe that is a fair warning.

Also, Corus is doing wonderfully, so if you want to see what's new there, just go to TRoF's links page and click on the first link, Corus. Hope to see you there!

Well, as usual, I haven't gotten as much done of TRoF as I'd like, but I did start. So here's a list of the changes that have been made:
1. I have started updating the characters page
2. I read the TRoF's emails, but I'm sorry, I still can not reply. My email still ins't working
3. Updated the links page (will continue to do so regularly)

And here are the changes that will be made soon:
1. List of books and summaries
2. Add more fanfic
3. Write my own fanfic
4. Start a holiday art contest
5. Find authors, artists, and the like

I oppologize that updates have not been taking place. Also those of you who have been expecting to get the newsletter, I appologize for that not happening. Things have been very busy as life tends to be. I will however try to get as much as possible done over Thanksgiving Break in 10 days. What I plan to update:

1.List of books and summaries
2.Characters page: including adding Emelan characters and more Tortall characters, adding info to characters who are already listed, listing what books each character appears in
3.Looking through TRoF's emails. If you have sent us an email and received no reply, I am sorry. I have checked the email for TRoF recently, but for some reason, cannot reply. I may have to get a new email address for TRoF.
4.Add more fanfic by magewhisperer. (Thank you magewhisperer for being our first author)
5.Writing my own fanfic
6.Starting an official holiday art contest
7.Add more links
8.Write more articles. If anyone wishes to write articles for TRoF, please email us at therealmoffantasy@go.com and I will reply as soon as the problem mentioned under #3 is fixed.
9.Find fanfic authors.
10.Find artists.
11.Find authors to write reviews, articles, and the like.

Now that you know what will be coming soon, I hope you look forward to it and any help will be greatly apreciated.

TRoF would like to welcome, Ravain Black the newest member to Corus,
our Tamora Pierce RP game.

The upcoming books list on the front page has been updated.

Owen has been added to the characters page and quotes for him will be
added soon.

Our bigest announcement this week though, is the begining of our fanfic
page. Though it has existed as long as The Realm of Fantasy, it has
been completely empty. We now have a fanfic writer, MageWhisperer, who
will be contributing to the fanfic page

Sorry I haven't been doing much lately. I've been grounded for the past three weeks. Okay, here is my to do list for TRoF:

Add Tammy apearances to the about page
come up w/ fan fic
add pics
update everything
add info to books and char. pages (they're a little empty)
add to misc. page
advertise the site and get people to come!

Even though I should be asleep, I slave away to make TRoF how YOU want it. Anyway, I've updated the Who Is TP page a bit and added and updated a bit of the Books page. None of it's done, but at least I've worked on it.

My to do list:

• Add info for TQ
• Add onto and update Who Is TP page

I've stayed up late working on TRoF and Corus. I should be in bed right now. Here's what's new:

• I don't have school this week, so I'll be able to get some stuff done and update the site.
• I haven't gotten info. on TQ up yet, but I promise I will by the end of this week.
• I have added release dates for Tammy's new books on the main page. (It's kinda hard to miss)
• I have redesigned the color scheme of Corus. It's still blue (one of my fav. colors), but it's a bit different, and the little pic. by the forums is now a cute little smiley face.
• Corus has a couple new members! I'm so happy. My baby (Corus) is growing! :D

I already have, and have read, Trickster's Queen. Not scheduled to come be in most stores in the U.S. until October, The Twig/Red Baloon Bookshop in San Antonio, Tx. had a bunch especially ordered so they would be there at the time of Tammy's book signing. Since my Mom lives near The Twig, she bought me a copy and Tammy signed it. It's an early B-day presant, and I couldn't ask for anything else! (I'm easy to please this year.) Anyway, I'll, of course, be putting some little bits from it on TRoF, just to tease you. You can read it if you wish to evily torture yourself. :D

Sorry, I haven't updated the news for so long. I forgot about the news page for a while. But, now that it has been remembered, here's the news:

Well, as you can see, there's really not much new. I'll be adding more links this week and have been adding onto the Books page. That's all for right now, though.

I haven't been able to update TRoF because of some sort of bug on the computer. That's fixed now, and I should be updating TRoF soon. I was working on the misc stuff page and will be adding oonto the links, book info, and fan stuff.

Not much news today. I hope to get some more links added, but that's about it. I was (before the computer caught whatever it was that was messing it up) working on the misc. stuff page and will continue that today. I also want to add some more links, fan stuff, and info on the books. Hopefully I'll be able to get some of that done since Spring Break is finally here.

So, I finally got my bookmarks setup on the new computer and can edit the news. So here's the old new if anyone wants to know what I did the first few weeks of TRoF's existance:

Well, I didn't expect to get much done this week, but suprise! I did. There's going to be a weekly newsletter. It will be sent out Sunday of each week. The first one will be sent when I get someone who wants to receive the newsletter. Also, if you want to get email from other TP fans, email TRoF, the email address is all over the site, but if you still don't know what it is, it's TheRealmofFantasy@go.com. Make the subject 'newsletter/TPmailgroup' and I will give everyone you're email address in the next news letter and tell them you are a TP fan. Please include in your email if you want people to email you about other books or if they just read a book they think you'll want to read. Also include what knind of books you would like to hear about.
Please email TRoF if you know of a place we can create an RPG for FREE.

I am planing to make a news archives page, but that will, unfortunately have to wait.
I have added TSotL to the Books page.
Today or tommorrow I will be adding a summary/explanation for Trickster's Choice.
I also plan to add more links and organize the links. Wesite, both TP and non TP, will have links on the links page. I will add links to forums and RPG's to the Forum and RPG page along with the official TRoF TP RPG. I hope to create a general TP forum soon.

I am moving the news to the main page and using the news page for something else.
We have an RPG. Please, go check it out. We are in desperate need of members and finacial suport.
The page with all the misc. stuff will now have fanlisting links added. I'll be adding the first one soon. Probably today.


And the news for today is....I posted the old news. There are also some new links. I need articles and fanfic. If you have any, please send them to therealmoffantasy@go.com. I check TRoF's email nearly every day and will post anything within three days of getting it.

I finally got a proper news page for TRoF. No more posting the news on the main page. I'll post the old news here eventually and delete it from the main page. Yes, I know. It's about time. I feel so proud. I'm finally doing something with TRoF.
